Explosions are a big part of the effects in the CG world,and appear ubiquitously in Movies,Computer Games and Television.To actually model the explosion and make it convincing is a challenging task.My research is into the different ways of creating and animating CG explosions and the factors involved in making it look realistic.To do this,the Physics behind an explosion has also been studied.I have experimented with both Particle and Fluid explosions and come up with some interesting results .
