The small photographs below are some practical 'Special Makeup Effects' that the author did on a friend. The larger photographa are the final effect. The author carried out only 'Casualty Effects'.

In order to get the ‘Casualty Makeup Effects’ to be realistic as possible, research into medical information was conducted. Real casualty images can give an idea of what cuts and wounds should look like to create convincing pieces. The author looked at a site which has many pictures of casualty injuries but did not diplay them on this site as they are pictures of real people badly wounded or others which are dead. CONCLUSION

Computers can create amazing effects, but will never replace actors or the makeup artists who transform or enhance their faces with makeup. In good and bad times people will wish to be entertained by drama, comedy and musicals.
